BRANDING FOR ADIDAS: KANYE COLLECTION
Harlem Heights is a branding assignment done for ADIDAS. I chose Adidas because they embody a very edgy and versatile image. I specifically used Kanye West's collection to portray a rugged, street, and almost military look. I admire how Kanye has minimalist style and neutral colors. This assignment was created through Photoshop using a variety of tools. My biggest challenge was deciding how to incorporate the theme images. I ended up using the rectangle tool and changed to opacity to portray a tape effect to make it look like posters hanging.
BRANDING FOR VIVID
This assignment was created through illustrator. We had to come up with a brand and then design a logo, business card, direct mailer, letterhead, and a merchandising line sheet. My brand is called VIVID and it is a retailer that sells swimwear, bohemian clothing, and a whole line of graphic t-shirts that support different causes. VIVID is all about how to make the most of every situation you are in and even donates a portion of the proceeds to three non-profits: Exodus Cry, Project Heal, and To Write Love on Her Arms. I am obsessed with the city and thought the city contains so many unique personalities. My favorite part was designing the flats and creating different symbols and brushes for each garment.
